In the foothills of Northern Italy, near the Slovenian border, a poorly dressed and helpless boy named Robin (Thomas Senica) wakes up in the backyard of a local’s house. The local (Nicolò Coslovich) soon offers him food and shelter. Meanwhile, a young French woman (Matilde Fonda) is organizing an art exhibition. The connection between these two stories is a mysterious spirit (Carla Chichiarelli), whose actions will shift the perspectives of the three protagonists on themes such as love, identity, and immigration.
